“I started to ski when I was two years old, I started to ski as soon as I could stand up!  When I was a little girl, I was living half a year in the south of France and the other half in the Alps. Then I grew up and my passion for skiing grew up with me, every year a little bit more. So I decided to live in the mountains all year and ever since skiing took a giant place in my life. I reached the French National team in 2012 and I did my first World Cup in 2013.”

A Q&A With Laura Gauche

What about the products are you most psyched on and how do they help you?

My favorite product is the Simplify goggle, I love the design. It seems to be a free skiing goggle and not a race one, but it is actually really efficient in a speed race. That’s what I love in that product.

Favorite place to ski?

And my favorite place to ride is the ski area « Espace Killy » it includes Tignes resort with the one of Val d’Isère. It’s huge and you can do whatever you want, giant, downhill, freeski , freeride,…

What's the perfect day of shredding to you?

It is absolutely a powder day just after a heavy snowfall when the sun is coming back.

Gnarliest or scariest experience riding?

I can’t remember the worst. Off course as a racer I had a lot of crashes but then the aim is to forgot about it and return without fear on the field.
