“Yes, I’m still an outsider, but I’m fully convinced of my ability to fight at the front.” — Marion Chevrier
Some athletes arrive early.
Some arrive ready.
Marion Chevrier built her way here.

Marion Chevrier represents France in alpine ski racing at the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milano Cortina.
She did not come through the spotlight.
She built her way up quietly.
Season after season, she progressed through the ranks, refining her skiing, refining herself, until she earned her place among the top seed.
She is still considered an outsider.
She is also fully convinced she belongs at the front.
Not through noise.
Not through hype.
Through work. Through reflection. Through finding her own way.
Finding her own system
My climb has required a lot of hard work and self-reflection, until I found my own way of functioning and understood which strengths I can rely on to perform at my best.
Marion did not just train harder. She learned herself.
She identified what actually makes her fast.
She stopped chasing someone else’s blueprint. That is when the shift happened.
Strength built over seasons
I would say I’m stronger today because I came into this season building on the strength of last season. I’ve learned to trust the work we’ve done with my team, but also to trust myself.
Trust in the process.
Trust in the team.
Trust in herself. That kind of confidence does not come from one result. It comes from repetition.
Still the outsider
Yes, I’m still an outsider, but I’m fully convinced of my ability to fight at the front.
Outsider is not weakness. Outsider means freedom.
It means no expectations to protect.
It means you can attack.
Commitment without panic
Progress is rarely linear. There were seasons where the breakthrough did not come immediately.
But she never doubted the direction.
What kept me committed was knowing it was only a matter of time. I trusted my work and knew I would find a way.
That is the difference between hope and conviction.
She did not wait for luck. She waited for alignment.
What being an underdog means now
Being an underdog now means I have nothing to lose. I’m here to put down my best skiing and see where it leads afterwards.
She built momentum quietly.
She built speed steadily.
She built belief internally.
Built from the climb.
Still in the fight.
