“I grew up in the biggest ski resort in Sweden. I started skiing when I was only 1 year old and fell in love directly. I don’t think I just fell in love with skiing, but also to be outside in the nature and in the great mountains. I spend a lot of time in Stockholm during the summers but as soon as I go back home to Åre or fly down to the Alps I feel like home. I get more calm and relax. And to be surrounded of mountains is something else!”

A Q&A With Oscar Scherlin

What about the products are you most psyched on and how do they help you?

I really like the design on the Shred Half Brain helmet and I always feel very protected wearing it, which is definitely the most important thing. I remember when I skied for the first time with my new Monocle goggles and everyone I knew came up to me and gave me props. I felt pretty unique then.

What's the perfect day of shredding to you?

Ski all day long in the park with your buddies and then end a good day with a nice meal and a good movie.

Gnarliest or scariest experience riding?

From when I was 15 years old and landed on my head and I couldn’t move my legs for a minute. That was really scary!
