A Q&A With Mike Hornbeck

What about the products are you most psyched on and how do they help you?

I really like the Half Brain helmet. It’s light weight and has a pretty slim look. It is simple! I love it. Shred lenses are good in a lot of different light conditions. I was amazed at how good the Stealth lens was in low light. Its a lens you can really use in any light.

What's the perfect day of shredding to you?

My perfect day skiing would be surrounded by good people and pushing my skiing to its fullest.

Gnarliest or scariest experience riding?

Crashing while filming video parts its always kind of gnarly. You never really know when its going to go wrong. Sometimes it takes a few days to get your confidence back. There are many variables that make it sketchy. It’s one of the best feelings in the world to over come it all and get the shot!
