“I was always fascinated by the versatility of this so called sport. On the race track it’s all about being the fastest by taking advantage of the terrain, controlling a wide extent of complex forces and by trying to come as close as possible to that ideal line all the way down an icy slope. When I go ski powder, everything transcends into a completely new dimension. You don’t have to conquer the mountain anymore, instead the possibility to express yourself is revealed. This balancing act between high performance sport and artistic freedom means the world to me.”
A Q&A With Marc Gisin
What about the products are you most psyched on and how do they help you?
I think even though the company is still young, it already possesses a good balance between innovating technology and style. They help me to protect my body, which is essential, when you go down the mountain with up to 150 km/h.
What's the perfect day of shredding to you?
Even though I love racing, a perfect day of shredding would be to go ride powder with my friends all day long on my home mountain here in Engelberg and maybe have a nice cheese fondue afterwards…pretty cliché I know. 🙂

Crashing over the “Hausbergkante” in the race in Kitzbühel in 2015.
