“I started skiing because I wanted to be like my dad. Once I told him that he put me into a freestyle ski club I soon unknowingly met my best friends. As we got older we started to get better and get a little bit of exposure in the industry. Today I get to ski professionally alongside those same best friends and continue to live the dream life that we all dreamt of as kids. Life is good!”

A Q&A With Joe Schuster

What about the products are you most psyched on and how do they help you?

I’m most psyched on the Monocle, the frame is really wide so when riding switch and looking over your shoulder there is absolutely no side of the frame in your peripheral vision. Also the optics are extremely clean and clear and I never have issues with fogging.

What's the perfect day of shredding to you?

The perfect day of shredding is a sunny day in the backcountry with my close friends, shredding pow and having fun!

Gnarliest or scariest experience riding?

Can’t really think of one day that stands out among the rest, but most days in the backcountry something gnarly happens whether it be a crazy line, crazy trick or a crazy situation you may get into with the natural elements.
